Later Catrina was offered a position as the DOT Registration Specialist at a large oil and gas company where she would acquire considerably further in her career of DOT Compliance. This company was an extraordinary fast paced oil and gas organization working with hundreds of drivers, thousands of vehicles from ¾ ton units to units with GVWR of 80,00lbs; working with units including but not limited to flatbeds, heavy haulers, tankers, hot shots, hazmat, well service units and frac tanks running both under Intrastate and Interstate operating regulations. Her knowledge with UCR (Unified Carrier Registration), IFTA (International Fuel Tax Agreement), NMWDT (New Mexico Weight Distance Tax), issuing oversize overweight permits and working to keep all DOT FMCSR Regulations up to date was just a few of the day to day operations that she ensured.
Catrina came to a Red River DOT workshop in May 2014 as a refresher course. A few months later she was asked to partner up with Red River DOT. Since then she has been a part of the team traveling the country working with corporations in requirement of Red Rivers DOT services.
When Catrina isn’t working she enjoys time with her family attending her daughters cheer competitions, attending her sons’ basketball games and the occasional date night with her husband.
